Sleep

Do you sometimes have trouble sleeping? Because I do, and I think it's because I think too much when I'm lying in bed. Everyone's always saying: "Just stop thinking." But I think that's easier said than done, because I'm so incredibly bored if I just lay there, I mean I have do do something right? So I think. I think about my day, I make up scenario's in my head of things that could happen, I think about great memories, I think about what I'm going to have to do the next day. I was actually thinking about posting this on my blog yesterday night when I was trying to fall asleep. :)

So how about you, do you easily fall asleep at night? Or do you stay up thinking about stuff like me?

  1. The exact same here. I have zillions of things going through my mind when I'm lying in bed, trying to sleep. And that's why it sometimes takes me longer than it should have...

  16. Read or listen to music for a while before you to sleep. That should take your mind off of things.

  18. The best way for me to get to sleep is to go back to a time in my childhood when I was happy. I'll remember walking through grass as tall as my shoulders. It would take me down to a stream at the bottom of the hill where we would swing across the stream on a piece of rope. I'd try and remember the sound of the stream, the sight of the green lush leaves on the banks of the stream and smell of the wild garlic leaves when you trod on them. I'd remember the cold feeling of the water of the stream, and the taste of the wild red berries from the trees ... then I'm asleep. Try it!

  20. I love it when I'm up late unable to sleep. That's when I do some of my best thinking. Sure, I'm tired the next day, sometimes. But good thinking is worth it.

  22. I use to do the same thing, but if I'm very tired I get to a stage when my brain is making up scenes and my imagination is going crazy xD Sometimes I fall asleep and I dream something related to what I have thought before falling asleep :D
